THE PERFECT MARRIAGE OF FRENCH EYEWEAR AND JEWELRY EXPERTISE

French craftsmanship is at its best in this alliance, where passion and creativity meet technology and precision to create unique pieces of art. Dyades glasses are exceptional pieces that highlight the beauty and individuality of those who wear them.

CONCEPTION

THE SKETCH

Sketching a pair of glasses by hand is a creative process that demands expertise in forms and proportions, as well as a particular attention to detail. Designers must combine their artistic talent with a knowledge of materials and technologies to create precious frames that combine elegance, originality, timelessness and quality.

GOUACHE

An essential stage in the creation of jewelry pieces, gouache is an ancient and tried and tested technique for bringing designs to life with exceptional realism before they are made. A true art form, it allows you to create precise, colourful drawings, to work on the finest details, and to represent the gem encrusted eyewear in all their splendor.

3D DESIGN

At this stage, the design is refined from all angles to make it more fluid and beautiful, thanks to 3D modelling of the eyewear. The designer's art is to remain as loyal as possible to the stylistic design while integrating the technical constraints, which are essential to production and respect the Maison's high standards of quality and comfort.

MANUFACTURING

MATERIAL SELECTION

From glass, wood and horn to gold and diamonds, each material used is meticulously selected by Dyades. Our research and development teams are constantly innovating to offer noble materials with exceptional qualities.

SOLDER

In order to fix all the components of the eyewear, the craftsman carefully solders each part using both traditional techniques and cutting-edge technology. This manual work requires great skill and expert practice in order to guarantee the geometry and solidity of the eyewear.

POLISH

Polishing is an essential step in enhancing the beauty of eyewear and highlighting the materials and precious stones used. This technique requires great finesse in order to make the pieces shine while preserving the volumes and geometries of the design.

SETTING

Setting is a technique that consists of fixing precious stones to a frame. This delicate task, performed by hand by a jewelry craftsman, allows the stone to be secured while also enhancing its shine and natural beauty. Depending on the requested style, the jewelry craftsman can use different types of settings that will give the eyewear a unique style.

FINISH

The eyewear craftsman then proceeds to assemble the different elements of the glasses such as the lenses which have been cut to the desired shape beforehand. This is followed by the final adjustment stage, which gives the frame the desired form, guaranteeing comfort.

QUALITY CONTROL

To ensure that every pair of glasses meets the Maison's quality standards, each model undergoes extensive laboratory testing and checks are carried out at every stage of the manufacturing process. Finally, before being placed in its case, each pair of glasses is individually and meticulously checked.
